Book Event: In Conversation with Laini Taylor

This weekend!

Come meet me and Laini Taylor at Barnes & Noble at the Tanasbourne Town Center in Hillsboro, Oregon on Saturday, September 27th!

I am so excited to celebrate Laini and the re-release of her gorgeous middle-grade fantasy, The Guardians of Dreamdark: Windwitch. This book was Laini’s debut fantasy novel in 2007 and was originally titled Fairies of Dreamdark: Blackbringer. Now it is back in a gorgeous new special edition with a stunning metallic cover and sprayed edges! For those who love paperbacks, the softcover edition is also available now and can be found where books are sold.

This event will be from 2pm-3pm PST and families are welcome! We will be discussing the magic of storytelling, Laini’s writing process (and the special origin of this story in particular), and all things fantasy.

I adored the original 2007 edition of Dreamdark and am thrilled that Laini’s middle-grade series has been brought back for a new generation of readers. If you love fairies, elemental spirits, dark dealings, and corvids, this book is for you!

Laini has also been one of my heroes in the writing world since I first began my own writing journey, and I am beyond honored that I will be joining her in conversation to celebrate the vast and luscious worlds she creates. If you haven’t read any of Laini’s books, this is your sign to start now.
