Hello #AMM Round 9 MG Hopefuls!

It’s official! I’m a MG mentor for Author Mentor Match (AMM) Round 9!

Author Mentor Match is a mentorship program where writers with a completed manuscript can apply for the opportunity to be mentored by a published or pre-published author. Mentors work with their mentees on revisions and help them prepare for the querying trenches.

I’m incredibly grateful to AMM for the mentorship I received during Round 6 (shout-out to my Write Club friends). As a MG mentor for AMM Round 8, I was incredibly fortunate to meet and work with my mentee, the phenomenal Jenna Yun! (psst! Jenna is also a mentor for MG in Round 9!) It is a great honor to return to AMM as a Middle-Grade Mentor once again.

My mentor page lists my mentoring style, a little info about me, and my MSWL and anti-MSWL. The submission window opens on January 12, 2021! If you are a middle-grade author with a completed, polished manuscript and your story fits my wish list, I hope you’ll send your sub materials to me.
